Savarian.tech, a leading software testing services company, is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Test Engineer Manual to join our dynamic and remote team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of our clients’ software applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project-specific QA strategies.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure product quality
- Be a primary contact person on a project in terms of quality
- Engage directly with our clients to understand requirements, give demos, and debug complex issues.
- Plan and prioritize testing activities
- Develop manual test cases for API and UI testing
- Execute, maintain, and update manual test cases
- Review and analyze test execution results
- Maintain test documentation
- Prepare testing data
- Proactively gather and clarify requirements as needed
- Mentor and support less experienced team members
- Learn fast and work independently and reliably.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in manual testing
- Experienced QA engineer generalist, familiar and open to a wide range of technologies
- Hands-on experience testing web or mobile applications
- Hands-on experience in API testing with tools like Postman or similar
- Experience in setting up testing processes from scratch
- Strong understanding of client – server architecture
- Good understanding of TT and SDLC
- Strong understanding of CI/CD
- Basic understanding of networking stack (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP(S), SSH, etc)
- Upper-Intermediate level of written and spoken English
Preferred qualifications:
- Understanding of Version Control (Git)
- Basic scripting experience (any modern programming language)
- Willing to contribute to test automation
- Team management and mentoring skills
- ISTQB certifications
